ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE  

The organization under the name PAPHOS DISTRICT LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION (P.D.L.G.O), hereinafter referred to as “the Organization”, manages https://www.eoap.org.cy website, hereinafter referred to as “the Website”, and any information or data (e.g. photographs, texts, graphics) contained therein, hereinafter referred to as “the Material”, for the purpose of presenting information to the public regarding its activity.

The use of the Website and the Materials is subject to these Terms of Use, hereinafter referred to as “the Terms of Use”, as in force always, which constitute the agreement between the organization and each person visiting the Website regarding the use thereof, hereinafter referred to as “the User or Users”.

By accessing and using the Website in any way (including simple navigation on it), TripAdvisor implies the User’s unconditional acceptance of the Terms of Use, as they always apply.

MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS OF USE

The organization reserves the right to amend the Terms of Use and any other rule governing the use of the Website at its sole discretion, notifying each time of any modification with a relevant announcement on the home page of the Website. The Terms of Use will indicate the last date of their update.

The continuation of the use of the Website by the User and after such announcement constitutes acceptance of these changes.

The use of the Website is subject to the Terms of Use in force at the time of use. The User should periodically check the Terms of Use in order to be informed of their content and is solely responsible for updating them.

In the event that the use of any service of the Website is regulated by more specific terms of use, these terms are considered as a whole with these Terms of Use. However, in the event of a conflict, the specific terms of use of each service shall prevail.

USE OF THE WEBSITE BY MINORS

By accepting the Terms of Use, the User declares that he/she is an adult over 18 years of age or, if he/she is under 18 years of age, that he/she has obtained the necessary consent from his/her parental responsibility holders and that he/she will provide his/her details, if requested to do so. Those who have parental responsibility for minors must protect them from accessing adult content and are solely responsible if they do not.

It is the organization’s policy not to pre-check the material or information provided by each user. The organization is not responsible for any access via the internet to information, goods and services that are contrary to the law, good morals or are inappropriate or inappropriate for certain categories of people, in particular minors.

If you believe that the Materials or any portion thereof infringes in any way your rights or the rights of third parties, you may send an email to the following address, specifying precisely the Materials or portion of the Material that you consider offensive and the reasons supporting your claim.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION FOR THE CONTENT

The Website is used “as is”, subject to modifications by the organization, without the possibility of modifications or other interventions by the User.

The organization in every way tries to make the use of the Website safe and to provide accurate, complete, valid, reliable and up-to-date information through it. In any case, however, Users acknowledge and accept that, given the nature and evolution of the organization’s products and services as well as the nature and technical needs of the Internet, the latter may not be able to always exercise full control over the entire content and security of its website and its services.

The organization is neither committed, nor guarantees, nor assumes any kind of responsibility regarding the lawfulness or not of the use of the Website by the Users and regarding the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the content of the Website and its security. Therefore, Users agree that they must evaluate the content and are solely responsible for their actions based on the use of the Website, including any decision they make to rely on the correctness, completeness and/or validity of its content.

The use of the site is at the user’s own risk. The organization, its employees and directors, its agents or any third party involved in the creation, production or publication of the website shall not be liable, to the extent that exclusion of liability is permitted by law, for any direct, indirect, moral, positive or other damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the website or the materials;  including, but not limited to, the unintentional downloading of computer viruses from the website or from e-mails sent from/to it.

The Website may contain links to websites owned or operated under the supervision of third parties outside the organization. These links are provided only for the convenience of the User. The organization does not control and is not responsible for the operation, content, privacy policies they follow, or the security of these sites. Indicatively, the organization is not liable if third-party websites:

– violate the rights of a third party,

– they are not secure or are inaccurate, incomplete or misleading,

– contain viruses or other programs of a destructive nature.

The organization does not endorse the content or products or services offered on these sites and is not affiliated with the operators of these sites. Where the Website refers through “links” or hyperlinks to other websites, the owners and/or administrators of these pages bear full (civil and criminal) responsibility for the security, legality and validity of the content of their websites, excluding any liability of the organization, such as, but not limited to, liability for infringement of intellectual and industrial property rights. If the User connects to these sites, he/she bears the sole risk for such connection and access, without any involvement of the organization.

INTERNATIONAL ACCESS

Access to the Website is possible from all over the world. The Website may refer to products or services that are not available in each User’s country. These reports do not indicate that the agency intends to make these products available in these countries.

The organization, which is part of the Cyprus Self-Government and is subject to Cypriot law, controls, manages and is responsible for the operation of the Website. Without prejudice to the provisions of these terms regarding the organization’s responsibility for the content, the organization does not warrant and bears no responsibility as to whether the Website, the Materials, products and/or services referred to therein are legal in countries outside of Cyprus. If the user accesses the Website from a location outside Cyprus, he is solely responsible for its compliance with local laws.

INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY – LICENSING

Property Rights

The Website, including its software, as well as the Material contained therein, is the intellectual and/or industrial property of the organization and is protected by the relevant provisions of Cyprus, EU and international law for the protection of intellectual and industrial property. Also, the composition of the content and the arrangement of its elements contained on the Website belong exclusively to the organization and are protected by the relevant provisions of Cyprus, EU and international law. The User is not hereby granted any ownership rights over the Website and the Material, except for the powers of use expressly provided for in these Terms of Use.

The organization hereby expressly reserves all intellectual property rights in any and all elements of the Website, as well as in the Material, such as, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, industrial property rights on trademarks of products or services, trade names, distinctive features, etc.

Licensing – restrictions on use

Provided that the User complies with the Terms of Use and the Privacy & Personal Data Protection Policy, the organization grants him/her a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-assignable license to access, upload, display on the screen of his/her device, the Website and the Materials and, in general, to use it for the purpose set out in these Terms of Use. In this regard, each User acknowledges and accepts that the Website and its Material are intended only for personal purposes and not for commercial use. Each User is entitled to “download” and/or copy and/or store an individual part of the Material of the Website for his strict personal use and not for commercial purpose, without deleting the indications of its origin and provided that he will protect any and all of the organization’s proprietary rights from any infringement. For any other purpose, the above actions will be permitted only if they are done with the written consent of the organization. Access to the Website or any of the above-mentioned actions will in no way result in the creation of a right, title or legal interest in any part or all of the Website that has been “downloaded” and/or copied and/or stored.

Apart from the above expressly mentioned permitted uses, the Website and its Material may not be reproduced, copied, leased, sold, sublicensed, assigned, transferred, exported, transmitted, retransmitted or distributed in whole or in part in any way by any User, nor may it be loaned or granted for use.
